  • Recruited and managed campus representatives in the Midwestern region for company’s website (www.bigwords.com)

  • Planned and implemented public relations campaign and viral marketing plan to increase company penetration online and oversees cyber team that executes it
  • Succeeded in driving the Midwest to the top of all regions in number of college campuses with active BIGWORDS representatives, doubling the number within a two-month time frame

Let’s Talk, Let’s Test Foundation (Special Events/Marketing Coordinator)

  • Managed all logistics for organizational events including, securing venues, all necessary permits, insurance, travel arrangements, catering, equipment etc.
  • Responsible for $200,000 budget for all three events, generating budget templates while working within specific budget guidelines
  • Sought and secured over $50,000 in in-kind donations for Voice of the People Awards and annual African-American HIV/AIDS Walk
  • Delegated staff and volunteers assignment and responsibilities; recruit volunteers and facilitate trainings
  • Collaborated with Director of Marketing to launch new and more dynamic organization website; website hits increased 400% within 3 months

Community Renewal Society (Marketing Coordinator)

  • Community Renewal SocuetyRevamped website of The Chicago Reporter by moving entire system to database-driven content management system, loading new content, and archiving articles
  • Assisted with coordination of organization’s biggest events in 2007, including the inaugural 35 under 35 Leadership Awards, Future Summit and John A. McDermott Film Fest
